The first experiment aircraft using solar energy will be launched today, located in Abu Dhabi. The pilot said aircraft are expected to take a trip around the world is made to promote green energy (green energy).Reported Rawstory, Monday (09/03/2015), flying aircraft named Solar Impulse 2 was postponed on Saturday due to the phenomenon of high-strength winds. Flight experiment closes 13 years of research and testing by Swiss pilot, Andre Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard."This project is a human project, this is a human challenge," said Borschberg, co-founder and chief executive of Solar Impulse will fly the plane for the first time.Aircraft wing was known as Si2, which has a shape larger than a jumbo jet, but weighs approximately the family car. These aircraft will take off from Abu Dhabi on Monday 6:30 am (0230 GMT) and is scheduled to land in Muscat, Oman. From Muscat, the aircraft will be flown back to 12 points on the way for more than five months. When totaled, the flight will take as long as 25 days. The innovative aircraft will pass through the Arabian Sea to India before landing in Burma, China, Hawaii, and New York. The longest distance allows the aircraft to fly non-stop for five days to cross the Pacific Ocean between Nanjing, China, and Hawaii with a distance of 8,500 kilometers. All this can be achieved without the worry of running out of fuel, because the plane has solar panels or solar powered. "We want to share our vision of the future of the net," said Piccard, Chairman of Solar Impulse. The airplane is supported by more than 17 thousand solar cells grown in 72-meter long wings. The innovative design makes this aircraft weighs only 2.3 tonnes, similar to the weight of the family 4X4 and lighter than the Airbus A380.
