This year, PT Internux (Bolt) will adopt 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) Advanced. Currently, these operators are still using 4G technology LTE Time Division Duplex (TDD).
By adopting 4G LTE Advanced, allowing Bolt will have access to reach 162.88 Mbps speed, at which time using TDD LTE 4G speed is only 75 Mbps.
"We will apply the technology this year," said Devid Gubiani Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Bolt in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 24th, 2015.
Bolt is expected to adopt LTE Advanced, then providing telephone-based voice services and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
On the same occasion, Dicky Moechtar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bolt still keep when customers can enjoy the sound of Bolt.
"Principally voice services in the near future, but certainly this year. Service was not the technology sounds hard, all the operators can do," said Dick.
To that end, Bolt will be more aggressive in the 4G market by targeting the construction of 4,000 Base Transceiver Station (BTS) to the end of this year in the Greater Jakarta area. This step is to improve the quality of its services, which currently has 2,900 BTS Bolt.
