Apple's digital stores, iTunes and the App Store, suddenly impaired globally. Worse, the problem lasts long enough.
As KompasTekno quotes from Slashgear, store digital content sellers apps, music, and video are known to start impaired at 5 am EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), Wednesday (03/11/2015), or approximately 18.00 Western Indonesia time in days the same.
This problem has been corrected by Apple at 4 pm EDT, or about 5 am in Indonesia today, Thursday (12/03/2015). In total, it took 11 hours to complete the reported cases occurred in the whole world.
Initially, many users have reported "Status_Code_Error" when trying to connect to the digital store. But, alas, the service that is being uprooted so that they can not access it at all.
The incident not only affects both the digital store only. E-mail service Apple, iCloud Mail, actually also had experienced network problems.
Apple managed to resolve the problem within a few hours iCloud. However, the iTunes and App Store still can not operate normally.
So, actually what the interference experienced by Apple? According to Apple, the server service they had experienced DNS disorders. Therefore, this disorder can be up felt around the world.
This incident, Apple also cast a petition apology.
"We apologize to our customers who have problems with iTunes and other services. The reason is the internal DNS error at Apple," said Apple.
Apple is predicted to experience a loss of up to tens of millions of dollars as a result of this incident. Apple is said to be able to collect 2.19 million dollars per hour through the application seller services. Thus, when calculated for 11 hours, Apple is said to have lost 21 million dollars.
